#lessformore is gaining popularity as people realize they are getting less product than before for a higher cost. I began the hashtag campaign once I started noticing items I buy and use every day shrinking in size while I was paying more. Sometimes the packaging is the same size, but the contents are fewer, smaller, or less weight than before.
Items are now Smaller but Cost MORE!
Being a huge advocate of financial freedom and maintaining healthy spending practices, I felt it necessary to point out this deceptive practice. You can help bring awareness by posting your pictures of items you buy that are smaller in quantity but higher in price than before. Be sure to add the hashtags #lessformore and #sawdustandcornbread to have them added to the list.
#lessformore is a Way to Help Each Other
These are difficult financial times for all of us. This is one way we can help each other be aware and make informed decisions about what we purchase. Let everyone know the wool is not being pulled over your eyes. Post and share #lessformore stories and pictures to all your social media accounts. I have included a sample post below. Feel free to copy, paste, and customize as you wish.
